The latch mechanism is a spring loaded steel pin of heavy duty construction for repeated use. Pins are made of 12L14 steel with a Rockwell hardness of B85. Single shear strength is 42,000 psi. All racks are powder coated, not painted. Other colors are available at an additional charge. (Wt. 94 lbs.)
